This is the perfect “gateway” to incorporate our delicious Cranberry Kraut into a more traditional cranberry sauce. Feel free to adjust ratios to your liking! Use your favorite homemade or store-bought cranberry sauce for this. We’ve also added a quick and easy recipe for one of our favorite homemade sauces below.

Makes about 8-10 servings

Ingredients

1 cup drained Cranberry Kraut

2 cups cranberry sauce

Method

Finely chop Cranberry Kraut solids and combine with cranberry sauce. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Cranberry Orange Sauce with Fresh Ginger

Makes about 2 cups 

Ingredients

12 oz cranberries

1 cup orange juice

 ⅔ cup sugar

2 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Method

Combine all ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat and simmer until cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes. When the sauce has cooled to room temperature, add the chopped Cranberry Kraut. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate until ready to serve.
