"The little red door of Firefly Kitchens beckons much like the tiny glow of their namesake insect. You might expect a kitchen full of fermenting foods to have a strong smell, but this tiny factory is homey, like walking into a friend’s kitchen. A large, family-sized table sits in the center of the room, where owners Julie O’Brien and Richard Climenhage will invite you to sit. And, as they set out a plate of homemade crackers, opening a jar of their delicious Cortido Kraut to go on top, you’ll barely notice the office tucked away in the corner...."
