Fermented food is so good for us! We love to share the knowledge and possibilities with you. That’s why we started this business and that is why we are expanding the types of classes we offer.
We love to ferment and experiment with our krauts and brines! We’ve always got a project on the go in the Firefly kitchen or in our own kitchens at home.
We’re offering four different classes in 2016: "Fermentation 101", "Fermentation 201", "Fresh & Fermented: using ferments in everyday meals", and "Divine Brine."
All classes will be held at Firefly Kitchens (844 NW 49th Street) and are approximately 2 hours. Class sizes are kept small. We offer tastings of our products and each participant can choose one bottle of Probionic Tonic to take home.
We will provide the supplies, but feel free to bring your own glass quart jars to our Fermentation 101 (to allow for more homemade kraut to take home).
Please arrive a few minutes to early to settle in and get ready to ferment!
