Firefly Fundido con Salsa Viva

Cheesy, gooey, and oh so yummy, this Firefly Fundido recipe is as tasty as it is easy to prepare.
Add/sub as many ingredients as you like to match what’s already in your pantry, and top with either Firefly Salsa Viva, or Cordito to elevate this side dish to perfection. 

1 1/2 cups shredded, meltable spicy cheese - such as pepper jack
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup of black beans
2 tablespoons kraut brine or light beer (optional)
1 cup Firefly Kitchens Salsa Viva Kraut (Cortido Kraut tastes great too)
½ cup chopped mushrooms, broccoli, peppers or cooked chorizo (optional)

Heat oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, toss shredded cheese with cornstarch to fully coat. Add, black beans, brine and any extras you might like.  Place in a baking dish suitable for dipping. Cover dish with foil; bake 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted. Scatter Salva Viva on the top and serve immediately with cut vegetables or thick-cut tortilla chips for dipping.
